New Orleans police are seeking the public’s help finding a woman who refused to pay at a nail shop and stabbed an employee who tried to follow her out of the store, authorities say.

Around 5:45 p.m. Monday at a nail shop on South Carrollton, an employee in her late 20s provided a manicure for a woman, but the customer refused to pay and ran out of the business, according to a police report. The employee followed the woman to near Stroelitz and Dublin streets, but the customer then pulled a knife and stabbed the employee in the arm, the report states.
