The New Orleans Comedy and Arts festival has become larger and funnier every year, and this year headliners include Danny Pudi from NBC’s “Community” and his “Siblings of Doctors” sketch group, comedian Neil Hamburger and several MTV stars.

La Nuit Theater on Freret Street and at Nola Brewing on Tchoupitoulas will host the festival from Wednesday (Feb. 12) to Friday.

The event showcases comedy skits, sketches, improv and a newly introduced short film festival. The event is no stranger to celebrity faces, as last year’s festival brought Zach Galafinakis into the audience as well as comedy insiders and producers seeking talent.

A percentage of this year’s profits will also go to Court Watch NOLA, an organization dedicated to the transparency and effectiveness of court rulings through citizen participation.

For more information, see the festival website.
