As part of the city’s “NOLA for Life” initiatives, New Orleans residents can visit the Audubon Zoo for free Saturday — the same day as the zoo’s “Get Yah Praise On” gospel celebration.

For more details, see the following information from the zoo’s website:

We are thanking Orleans Parish residents with free admission to Audubon Zoo on Saturday, February 15, 2014. This Orleans Parish appreciation day is in conjunction with the NOLA for Life program. While you’re here, join us for the 6th Annual Get Yah Praise On Presented by The Bardell Company which will feature a soul stirring line-up of local and regional gospel performers as well as a concert by international gospel great Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr.

Offer is for residents of Orleans parish only and residents must have a photo ID or valid proof of Orleans parish residency to participate.
