Investigators have released a sketch and a description of a man they are looking for in connection with the December robbery at a Carrollton bank of an armored car that left a guard dead, New Orleans police said.

Loomis guard Hector Trochez, 45, was fatally shot at the Chase bank at Carrollton and Claiborne before he even had time to comply with his assailants’ demands for the money he was unloading, authorities have said.

The man police want to talk to about the shooting is described as a black man in his 20s or early 30s and an “unshaven face with acne scars or pit marks, unkempt dread locks that fall one inch below his shoulders and wearing a black jacket,” according to the NOPD news release.

Anyone with information is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 822-1111.
