A South Carrollton Avenue business was robbed by a gunman in a ski mask Saturday morning, New Orleans police said.

Two employees, a woman in her early 30s and a man in his mid 50s, were outside the business in the 3100 block of South Carrollton (near Earhart Boulevard) around 6 a.m. Saturday, according to the initial police report. The woman was emptying the trash and the man was standing in the parking lot, and after the woman went back inside, the male employee saw a man carrying a handgun and wearing a ski mask, the report states.

The gunman ordered the man not to run, but he did so anyway, the report states. The gunman then went inside, ordered the woman to fill a black bag and then lie on the floor while he left, the report states. No one was harmed in the robbery, the report states.
