Four assailants used pepper spray and a gun to take a pickup truck towing a jet ski in Broadmoor on Saturday evening, and a teen girl was robbed at gunpoint later that night on Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans police said.

In the Broadmoor case, two men (one 28 and the other 35) were were towing a jet ski behind a Chevrolet truck in the 4500 block of Eve Street near South Rendon around 8:30 p.m. Saturday when they were approached by a group of four men, according to the initial police report. The attackers pepper-sprayed the victim, pulled a gun on them, and took the truck with the jet ski still behind it, the report states.

Around 3 a.m. Sunday, a 17-year-old female in the 3700 block of Tchoupitoulas (near Foucher Street) was approached by a man who demanded her belongings, the initial report states. The victim handed over her cell phone, wallet and $300 in cash, and her assailant left, the report states.

Further details were unavailable on either case. Anyone with information is urged call CrimeStoppers at 822-1111 to leave an anonymous tip that could be eligible for a cash reward.

An armed robbery was also reported in the 2500 block of Nashville at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, according to the NOPD crime maps, but no report on it was listed in department’s major offense log from the weekend.
