In the stabbing, the 44-year-old victim was in the 800 block of Delachaise Street (near Laurel) around 5 p.m. Friday when he was attacked by three men with a box cutter, according to the initial report. “The wounds were superficial,” the report states.
In the robbery, a 21-year-old man was sitting in a car in the 2200 block of Terpsichore (about a block off Simon Bolivar) around 6:30 p.m. Saturday when he was confronted by two men, one of whom had a gun, the initial report states. One held the gun on the victim while the other took his backpack from the trunk, the report states.
Around 6:45 p.m. Sunday, a teen walked into a convenience store on Martin Luther King Boulevard and tried to buy a cigar, but was told to leave because he did not have the proper identification of his age, according to the report. “He then began cursing and threatening to ‘blow up’ the building,” the report states. The teen then went outside, pulled a gray semi-automatic handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the employee before leaving, the report states.
The teen, shown in the video above, may be a 16-year-old named “Cody” who lives in New Orleans East, police say.
