A man sleeping outside the bus station was robbed and shot early Tuesday morning, leaving him in critical condition, according to New Orleans police.

The 49-year-old victim was asleep outside the bus station in the 1000 block of Loyola Avenue around 2 a.m. Tuesday when he was robbed and shot in the lower chest and upper back, according to the initial police report. He was taken to the hospital for surgery and listed in critical condition, the report states.

  1. Now that is the kind of attack that deserves jail and big time incarceration. Sure hope there were some crime cameras operating in the area. Sick people doing sick things. Very sorry state of affairs.
