  1. “Around 5:45 p.m.”??? In other words, in broad daylight? I’m so sick of having to be ridiculously “awear” and on the “lookout” for armed idiots whenever I leave my house, regardless of the time of day or night. I’m wondering if the follow up “details” will state that the “armed stranger” fled in an “unknown direction”? I walk, run, and ride my bike up there all the time, and have for years. I don’t recognize my hometown any longer, and I’m tired of feeling “under siege”, 24 hours a day. I’m going to walk to Walgreen’s now, and I hope I don’t encounter an “armed stranger”, on this warm, sunny, “peaceful” Spring afternoon, but …… it’s now a distinct possibility. Pathetic!

  2. Now that is where I walk. Scary.

  3. Has anyone noticed how many more crimes are occurring in very public places in broad daylight? There is no fear. Consequences don’t matter.
