Suspect wanted for six months booked on murder charge in west Carrollton shooting

The suspect accused six months ago of killing a man during an argument in a west Carrollton home was finally jailed on Wednesday, court records show.

Darrell A. George, 25, is charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder in the Sept. 24 shooting in the 8300 block of Cohn Street that killed 27-year-old Terrell Jackson and wounded another man in the arm, jail records show. George and Jackson were inside a home there when they got into an argument, and George drew a pistol and ordered Jackson outside and shot him, police said. Others were at the home at the time, and George was quickly identified as wanted on a murder charge in the days after the shooting.
