Second Dat Dog location now open on Magazine, Mellow Mushroom to open Monday on Oak

Dat Dog’s second location recently opened on Magazine Street, and Mellow Mushroom is days away from opening its doors on Oak Street.

The Dat Dog on Magazine is similar in menu and setup to its Freret Street flagship, with bright colors, a full bar and a large patio, reports Gambit’s Ian McNulty, who also reviews the short history of the rapidly growing hot-dog institution.

When Mellow Mushroom opens on Monday on Oak Street, diners will be treated to a art installation inside and locally sourced ingredients in the pizza, the owners told Maria Clark of New Orleans City Business.
