Man found fatally stabbed on Central City sidewalk

A man was found stabbed to death Monday evening on a Central City sidewalk, authorities said.

The victim, who has not been identified by police, was found lying on the sidewalk in the 2600 block of Third Street (a block off Magnolia) with multiple stab wounds around 8:30 p.m. Monday and pronounced dead at the scene, said NOPD Officer Frank Robertson III. No further information was immediately available.
