Chad V. Forest, 30, is wanted on a charge of simple-burglary from March 14 in the 1900 block of Cambronne, according to a police report:
On March 14, 2013, at approximately 5:55 pm, a Simple Burglary was committed in the 1900 block Cambronne Street. The victim saw the suspect as he fled from the scene. Through further investigation, Chad V. Forest was developed as a suspect and positively identified as the perpetrator who burglarized her home. An arrest warrant is on file for the arrest of Chad V. Forest for RS 14:62.2, Relative to Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling.

Meanwhile, 23-year-old Claude Martin was arrested Wednesday on a variety of drug charges, according to another news release from the NOPD Second District:
While on proactive patrol/mobile surveillance in Pigeon Town, 2nd District Narcotics Detectives observed a black male, later identified as Claude Martin, D.O.B. 6/28/89, exit the residence in the 8600 block of Jeannette Street and engage in a drug transaction with a vehicle at Jeannette Street and Monroe Street. All individuals were detained, and Martin was found to be in possession of a clear bag containing 16 pieces of Crack Cocaine totaling 2.6 grams.
Martin was placed under arrest, and a Consent to Search was signed and conducted at Martin’s residence. 17.0 grams of Marijuana were confiscated inside the residence, along with 7 Tramadol pills and 19 legend pills, and a digital scale.
Martin was booked with state charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of Legend drugs, Possession of Legend drugs, Possession of Tramodol and Drug Paraphernalia.
