The Audubon Riverside Neighborhood Association is sponsoring a Public Safety Meeting as part of its March Board Meeting, scheduled for this Tuesday, March 5 at 6:45 pm, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 600 Eleonore Street at the corner of Patton Street.

-Commander Noel will speak about the crime activity that the police department is seeing most in our neighborhood and suggest ways for residents to protect themselves. Noel will also talk about the NOPD’s efforts to reduce crime throughout the city — and in particular the Second District which includes our ARNA neighborhood — and address any questions or concerns that residents might have.Chief Tim McConnell

New Orleans Fire Department
-Chief McConnell will discuss the proposed changes to the Arabella Fire Station and how the changes will affect the residents in our neighborhood. He will discuss what exactly the closure of Arabella Station’s Ladder Unit 5 means and how the proposed structure will differ from the existing Station. Chief McConnell will respond to questions and concerns about the proposed changes. In addition, Chief McConnell will discuss general fire safety measures and ways for residents to prevent fires from occurring.So please join ARNA this Tuesday, March 5 at 6:45 pm, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.
