A popular Westbank Vietnamese restaurant plans to expand to Maple Street, and the gourmet coffee shop opening on O.C. Haley Boulevard plans to open by Mardi Gras at the latest, according to recent reports.
The owners of Tan Dinh plan to open Ba Chi Canteen at 7900 Maple St., reports Susan Langenhennig of The Times-Picayune.
Velvet, the little yellow coffeeshop in the 5600 block of Magazine Street, is launching a larger second location in the new building at 1609 O.C. Haley, and hopes to open its doors in time for the Super Bowl, or maybe Mardi Gras, owner Tamara Muro tells NOLA Defender.
