The armed robbery in Gert Town was reported shortly after 2 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of South Clark Street, when a 28-year-old man on a bicycle was approached by two strangers, one of whom had a gun, the initial report states. The robbers knocked the victim off his bicycle and demanded his money, and they left after he turned it over, the report states.The shooting took place around 10:30 p.m. Monday in the 3300 block of Fern, where two men were walking when a white Chrysler drove up, the report states. A man came out of the sunroof and began firing on the victims, hitting one on the right side of his body and the other on his right thigh, the report states. Both were treated for their injuries, the report states.
