The International School of Louisiana will host its winter bazaar and gumbo cook-off fundraiser Saturday (Dec. 8) at the Camp Street campus.

Call for entries for Gumbo Cook-off: community and professional chefs
WHAT: The International School of Louisiana will host its annual “Winter Bazaar & Gumbo Cook-off” to raise funds for the school’s programs. International School of Louisiana’s Camp St. Campus will host a holiday marketplace with a craft fair full of local artisans selling handmade wares and unique gifts. There will be handmade jewelry, pens, hair bows, lighting fixtures, clocks, and much more.
For fantastic eats, check out the gumbo booths! Local community members and professional chefs will be bringing their best gumbos to enter in ISL’s gumbo cook-off.
For parents to have shopping time and the little ones to have fun, there will be a Kid’s Zone with a bounce house, slide, playground,rock climbing wall, art tent, and portable Lazer Tag.
There will also be a holiday mall for the kids to create gifts for parents. For children 5 and older, $15 will allow you to drop your child off in a secured area full of fun activities to keep them busy for the whole day! For the same rate, little ones can play too, just make sure a parent or designated adult is there to help keep an eye on them.
Concessions will be available for purchase in the Kids Zone and in the main bazaar.
The Winter Bazaar and Gumbo cook-off is free and open to the public.
