Turnbull Bakeries closes 105-year-old bakery on First Street

Turnbull Bakeries, known for Melba toast wrapped in plastic with a green logo, has closed after operating its bakery on First Street in the Irish Channel since 1907, according to a report by Dominic Massa of our partners at WWL-TV.
