St. Charles Avenue Baptist Church (via scabc.org)

For the first time since Redeemer Presbyterian began sharing space with St. Charles Avenue Baptist in early November, the two congregations will worship together tonight in a joint Christmas Eve service.

The 45-minute service will begin at 6 p.m. at St. Charles Avenue Baptist, 7100 St. Charles Avenue (at the corner of Broadway). The service will primarily consist of music and readings, and will be conducted by both the Rev. Ray Cannata of Redeemer and the Rev. Paul Powell of St. Charles Avenue Baptist.

“It will be a wonderful service with music by both churches and candlelight singing in the courtyard,” according to the St. Charles Avenue Baptist Church bulletin. “If you are in town and have guests visiting, this would be a great time to bring them along. This is a family service, so bring the children.”
