Police investigation into Lusher embezzlement continues after a year

The alleged embezzlement of $25,000 in forged checks by former Lusher employee Lauren Hightower was reported to police Jan. 25, but no charges have been filed amid an ongoing investigation, according to a report by Jessica Williams of The Lens.
