Bridge House / Grace House to Host Annual Christmas Dinner for the Area’s Homeless and Indigent

On Tuesday, December 25, 2012 the Bridge House / Grace House substance abuse treatment center will once again host their annual Christmas Dinner to serve a hearty, holiday meal to the local New Orleans’ homeless and indigent population. Clothing will be distributed from our thrift stores to those in need, and children will receive toys. This year’s dinner will take place at Grace House at 1160 Camp Street between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

A true community effort to address a dire civic need, approximately 100 volunteers will serve the meal generously prepared by Harrah’s New Orleans. Following the meal, our volunteers and clients will distribute packages of toiletries, clothing, and toys compliments of the Bridge House Thrift Stores to those in attendance. This meal is made possible through the generous cash and in-kind gifts of this community.
