St. Charles Avenue skeleton graveyard satirizes local icons, pop culture

Louellen Berger’s growing collection of skeletons for her increasingly popular Halloween display at St. Charles Avenue and State Street now numbers more than 50, with new additions this year, according to Sally Asher of Tulane’s New Wave university news service. The family expects an astounding 1,200 trick-or-treaters this year.
