The acrid smell of the marsh fire burning in New Orleans East suddenly appeared in Uptown New Orleans around 1:30 a.m. Monday, waking up many residents and sending them online to find out what happened.

  1. That’s a very interesting conversation about the marsh fire! I like the social language used to discuss it. My family, friends, and I hope that the marsh fire will be extinguished soon. The smell from it is very strong.
